THERE IS A MANDATORY EVACUATION ORDER FOR ALL OF TASSAJARA ROAD AND CONNECTING ROADS, AND ON CACHAGUA ROAD EAST OF TRAMPA CANYON. HARD ROAD CLOSURES COMMENCE AT 05:00 HOURS JULY 13. THIS MEANS THAT IF YOU GO OUT, YOU WON"T BE LET BACK IN. EXPECT HARD ROAD CLOSURES ON CACHAGUA RD. @ TRAMPA CANYON RD. AND ON TASSAJARA RD AT CVR. CACHAGUA ROAD AND CONNECTING
ROADS WEST OF TRAMPA CANYON ARE NOW UNDER VOLUNTARY EVACUATION. USE YOUR TIME WISELY. THIS COMMUNITY HAS HAD 3 WEEKS TO PREPARE. NOW IT IS TIME TO PERFORM. The situation is very dynamic, so things can change at any time. Be ready for anything. There was a meeting on Saturday July 12, at 18:30 hours at the Tularcitos fire station on Cachagua Road. Horse owners have been finding safe places to move their animals. <SPCA of Monterey County> can help with transporting your animals. If you need her assistance, you should put your name on the list at Hacienda Hay & Feed on C.V.R. Please drive carefully and slow down. The dozer line is complete from Arroyo Seco to the ocean, but will be continually improved and supported as needed. Safety zones have been added to the dozer line and to our neighborhoods to help guarantee the well-being of our residents and all firefighters. As of today the District's Task Force has put in close to 45 miles of firing and containment lines. Additional air support, including a DC-10 heavy air tanker, has joined the effort. The DC-10 has been dropping fire retardant on the fire.
